MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) refers to the profit that can be extracted by validators, miners, or other participants in a blockchain network through the ordering, inclusion, or exclusion of transactions within a block. By leveraging knowledge of transaction data, these participants can optimize the sequence of operations to maximize their financial gain, often at the expense of other users.
Enable MEV Protect MEV protection shields your swap from frontrunning and sandwich attacks. OpenOcean provides a custom RPC endpoint powered by bloXroute that you could use to protect your swaps.
For MetaMask wallet users, enable with one click using the button below. For other wallets, follow the guide below to add it manually. Make sure you understand how it works and proceed with caution.
Add manually this RPC endpoint to your wallet:
On Ethereum:
ETH Protect
1
ETH
On BNB Chain
BSC Protect
1
BNB
It shows users how to switch RPC to improve user experience while facing high volume on the network sometime. The following steps will guide you through the process of changing custom RPC endpoint on your MetaMask wallet:
1. Enter your MetaMask and click your account details. Click the 'Settings' then 'Networks'.
2. Next, on the expanded Settings, click 'Add a network', then paste the copied RPC URL from Chainlist under 'New RPC URL’. You can name the network whatever you prefer, and enter the correct Chain ID and Currency Symbol. Click 'Save'.
3. That's it, now you have connected to the custom RPC endpoint in your wallet.
