Swap on Celo
PC Version
Before trading, you need to have the native network token and gas token - $CELO. If you don’t have any, use the main bridge to transfer your assets from other chains.
Visit OpenOcean.Finance website on your PC browser and click "Launch dApp", and click "Connect Wallet" on the top right corner.
Choose Celo Network and click any wallet you want to choose (here take Metamask an example).
MetaMask Wallet will prompt the window and request to "Approve" adding Celo Network to your wallet.
After approving from your wallet and switching to the Celo network, you will see your wallet address connected on the top. Now, it's all set to do swaps!
Unlike other blockchains, you have to approve $CELO first to proceed with $CELO related pairs’ trades.
Mobile Version
Visit OpenOcean.Finance website on your mobile browser and click "Launch dApp". Next, click the chain list on the top right corner and choose Celo.
Click "Connect Wallet" on the bottom right corner and then select "MetaMask" on the pop-up WalletConnect. To add Celo Network to your wallet, you need to fill out the following chain info in the "Custom Networks" . Network Name: Celo (Mainnet) New RPC URL: https://forno.celo.org Chain ID: 42220 Currency Symbol (Optional): CELO Block Explorer URL (Optional): https://explorer.celo.org
After approving from your wallet and switching to Celo Chain, you will see your wallet address connected on the bottom. It's all set to do swaps!
